Eden Natural Park is located at the foot of Mount Tolomo near the city of Davao. The park, on the territory of which the resort of the same name is located, is a real “man-made” paradise, where you can admire the beauty of nature and find something to do for yourself. Today it is one of the most popular green landmarks in the Philippines, with an amazing pine forest, beautiful gardens and animal shelters. In addition, guests of the park will find comfortable villas and cottages here, where they can stay overnight to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting world of nature.

The park is located at an altitude of 3 thousand feet above sea level, and when you find yourself among its lush greenery, surrounded by the sounds of a real forest, it is hard to believe that all this is 95% human. "Eden" is a wonderful example of how you can recreate nature, return the "lost paradise". Once the territory of the park was almost completely deforested - only the grass cover remained on it. However, in 1971, entrepreneurs from Davao saw the potential of this area, who decided to turn it into a popular resort with wonderful views of the city and the Davao Bay. Soon terraces were cleared on the mountain slopes and thousands of pine seedlings were planted. When the pines grew, they provided excellent shelter for other trees and plants, thus forming a secondary forest. Today, on an area of 80 hectares, there are already about 100 thousand pines, which have become excellent decorations for various attractions in the Eden Park, and among which beautiful peacocks and Asian deer roam - there are about 30 of them here.

For a deeper acquaintance with the local flora and fauna, it is worth going on a hike along the 4-kilometer Mountain Trail, which runs right through the forest and where you will surely meet various species of birds, animals and insects. Throughout the park, wonderful gardens with exotic plants are laid out - the Flower Garden, Lola's Garden, Amphitheater, Plaza Maria. The Prayer Garden stands out in particular, in which you can feel an unusually calm and peaceful atmosphere. Here, in the park, vegetables are grown all year round, including tomatoes, which are then served to the guests of the resort. And in the greenhouses you can see a variety of fruit trees - durian, mango, macadamia and others.

Tourists appreciate "Eden" not only for its amazing nature, but also for the opportunities for recreation and entertainment. The most popular attraction in the park is Skyrider, a 45-minute walk that will leave you with an unforgettable experience. The attraction is something like a cable car - the chairs move along a 200-meter cable stretched 20 meters above the ground between two steel towers. It is from Skyrider that breathtaking views of Davao and the coastline open.

In the park, you can also go horseback riding, go to a fishing village or swim in the huge pool. Of particular interest for tourists is the open-air park-museum dedicated to the culture of the local tribe "Tinubdan", spread over an area of 5 thousand square meters. Here you can get acquainted with the history, traditions and customs of the tribe, as well as with the way of life of the indigenous population of the island of Mindanao.
