Photo and descriptionThe Klovichev Dvor Gallery is located in the building of the Jesuit monastery, which was built from the first half of the 17th century to the twenties of the 18th century. The Klovichev yard was named after the Croatian Renaissance miniaturist Julius Klovic. The exhibition area of the gallery is 2630 square meters. The official opening of the gallery took place on March 15, 1982 in the restored monastery building. Initially, it was intended to house a collection of works by Ante from the Mimara Museum. At the beginning of the existence of the gallery, the works of Albrecht Durer, Oton Glich and Dusan Jamonya were shown there at a personal exhibition, which were successful and brought fame to the Klovichev court. On November 8, 2012, the gallery opened an exhibition of Yuli Klovich, presenting 30 works of the artist ... This is the largest collection of his works in one place. The exhibits represent different periods of the miniaturist's work. The gallery fund contains six collections: the memorial collection of Dr. Vinck Perchik; a collection of works by the painter, graphic artist and restorer Josip Restek; collection of works by Josip Chernoboria; collection of donated works; the Oscar Herman collection; Slavka Kopacz collection.
