The Sirirach Medical Museum, also known as the "Museum of Death", is located in the hospital of the same name in Bangkok and consists of several sections, including the Department of Forensic Medicine.

The history of modern medicine in Thailand is illustrated in the museum. All exhibits are divided into 6 permanent exhibitions and one temporary one. The permanent exhibition halls feature subject areas such as Anatomy, Congenital Anomalies, Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Thai Traditional Medicine and Toxicology. In 2008, in the temporary exhibition hall, the role of Sirirach Hospital in resolving the aftermath of the tsunami that hit the southern coast of Thailand and other countries in 2004 was presented.

Of particular interest in the museum's collection is an exhibit from the section of forensic medicine. These are the mummified remains of the first serial killer in the history of modern Thailand. Cannibal Xi Uyu Sae Urng, who arrived from China, was active in the 1950s and hunted young children. He was convicted and executed, and his body was deliberately mummified and put on public display as a deterrent against violent crime.

The museum contains an extensive collection of unique medical cases that impress not only professionals, but also people far from medicine ...
